The UN Millenium Development goals have been formulated around a decade back with the deadline to achieve them pegged at 2015. Many steps have been taken by various communities and goverments to achieve the dreams that define those goals. One such initiative by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the TEDxChange conferences. As a part of this conference TED has finally appeared within my reach and grasp. There is a TEDx conference happening at coimbatore, an important town in south India. The theme is to talk about the ideas to bring change for achieving the Millenium Development goals. There has been an opportunity provided for the students to speak for 4 mins. And thats a chance to make difference in the world, and as you would know opportunities come only once its up to us to grab it. I am digging in. My talk and subject will follow soon. . .
